  We recently asked Adams Turkey Farm a few questions about what inspires them to do the work they do. Here's what they had to say.
  
  WHAT INSPIRES YOU EVERYDAY?
  One major inspiration comes from positive customer satisfaction with our products. It is our goal to do the best job we can to produce a top quality product. We really enjoy, look forward to, and are inspired by the positive comments we receive. After farming since 1981 we recognize our diversification can be a big source of inspiration. It has allowed us to realize many opportunities as a family operated farm now and for the future.
  
  WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR JOB?
  In a nutshell the short answer is this: The love of being self-employed on a very diverse family farm and having the ability to please people with our farm products.
  Our family farm has seen all of us work in different capacities doing what we love sometimes and sometimes not so much. It all adds into the big picture that all of us have worked hard to build this farm to what it is today, with a sustainable foundation for the future. That’s cool for us.
  
  WHY ARE YOU AT THE SOUTH BURLINGTON FARMERS MARKET?
  The South Burlington Farmers Market is an excellent opportunity for Adams Turkey Farm to interact with our customer in a relaxed, one on one basis. It is as if the space between the consumer and our product label evaporates and friendly dialogue and familiarity between people begins. It is a way for our customers to see the people responsible for the products they buy from us. We have an opportunity to gauge our customer’s satisfaction with our products. It is fun and we appreciate the Healthy Living invitation to join other farmers at the 2009 South Burlington Farmers Market.

  We couldn’t be prouder or happier to have Frank Pace on staff at Healthy Living, heading up our Meat Department. Frank brings years of experience both as a trained chef and a meat cutter and is truly transforming our selection of meats, poultry and seafood. Recently his expertise landed him along with Healthy Living in an article by the Associated Press Read it here. Look for a huge selection of local meats here at Healthy Living, and check out the fantastic, creative products Frank is making in-house.
