"We should give as we would receive -
cheerfully, quickly, and without hesitation;
for there is no grace in a benefit
that sticks to the fingers."
- Lucius Annaeus Seneca
Our giving program is devoted to helping our community’s
local non-profit organizations ...groups that have small
budgets and big hearts. We love to work with motivated,
innovative groups who strive to make the world a better
place!
We stand by groups with values similar to our own. We’re
especially interested in environmental issues, building
a strong community, making health a priority, supporting
organic farming, and educating both adults and kids about
these things.

"On behalf of the Vermont Foodbank staff, board of
trustees and the thousands of Vermonters we serve I want
to thank you for your continued support of Check Out Hunger.

organizations like ours.

“Thank you so much for your generous donation of
that GIANT spread of lasagna for the Burlington-Chill

and the pan was licked clean!”
"Thank you very much for donating a Healthy Living
gift certificate to the South Burlington Community Library
to use a prize at our Poetry Slam Contest that was help
at the library on March 29th. The price incentive really
helps to encourage participation and creativity, especially
among the young people. This year we had people of all
ages read their poems, with the youngest participant being
only 10 years old and the oldest in her seventies!
I would like to express my deepest appreciation for your
willingness to support creative endeavors such as this
in the South Burlington community and at the library.
These kinds of programs are only possible with the support
of community oriented business people like you.
- Louise Murphy | Community Library Director
